Care Guide
Light
Bright, indirect light encourages vibrant new foliage and rich coloration. It also adapts well to medium light, though new leaves may develop with softer colors.
Water
Allow the top inch or two of soil to dry before watering thoroughly. A well-draining aroid mix supports healthy roots and steady growth.
Humidity
Comfortable in average household humidity but appreciates slightly higher humidity during active growth.
Temperature
65–85°F (18–29°C). Keep away from cold drafts and temperatures below 60°F.
Fertilizer
Feed monthly during spring and summer with a balanced fertilizer diluted to half strength.
Growth Habit
A self-heading Philodendron with broad, glossy leaves that forms a full, upright plant without climbing support.
Pet Safety
Not pet safe. Like other Philodendrons, it contains calcium oxalate crystals and should be kept away from pets and young children.
