Care Guide
Light
Bright, indirect light is essential for maintaining healthy variegation while protecting the foliage from scorching. Because variegated areas contain less chlorophyll, this plant benefits from plenty of filtered light.
Water
Allow the top inch or two of soil to dry before watering thoroughly. A chunky, well-draining aroid mix encourages healthy root development.
Humidity
Thrives in average household humidity but appreciates moderate to higher humidity for optimal growth.
Temperature
65–85°F (18–29°C). Protect from temperatures below 60°F and avoid cold drafts.
Fertilizer
Feed monthly during spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half strength.
Growth Habit
A self-heading Philodendron with broad, upright foliage and stunning, unpredictable variegation.
Pet Safety
Not pet safe. Like other Philodendrons, it contains calcium oxalate crystals and should be kept away from pets and young children.
