Care Guide
Light
Bright, indirect light is essential for maintaining healthy growth and encouraging vibrant pink variegation. Avoid prolonged direct afternoon sun, which can scorch the lighter portions of the leaves.
Water
Allow the top inch or two of soil to dry before watering thoroughly. A chunky, well-draining aroid mix helps keep the roots healthy.
Humidity
Enjoys moderate to high humidity. While it adapts well to normal indoor conditions, higher humidity encourages larger, healthier foliage.
Temperature
65–85°F (18–29°C). Protect from cold drafts and temperatures below 60°F.
Fertilizer
Feed every 3–4 weeks during the growing season with a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half strength.
Growth Habit
A climbing Philodendron that thrives when given a moss pole or sturdy support. As it matures, the leaves often become larger and even more dramatic.
Pet Safety
Not pet safe. Like other Philodendrons, it contains calcium oxalate crystals and should be kept away from pets and young children.
