Care Guide
Light
Bright light is essential. Several hours of direct morning or afternoon sun will help encourage strong, healthy growth.
Water
Allow the soil to dry completely between waterings. Water thoroughly, then allow excess water to drain away. During winter, watering can be reduced significantly.
Humidity
Average household humidity is ideal. No additional humidity is required.
Temperature
65–85°F (18–29°C). Protect from frost and temperatures below 50°F.
Fertilizer
Feed once a month during spring and summer using a balanced cactus or succulent fertilizer diluted to half strength.
Growth Habit
An upright succulent that can eventually reach several feet tall indoors with proper care.
Pet Safety
Not pet safe. Like other Euphorbias, the milky white sap can irritate skin and is toxic if ingested. Wear gloves when pruning and keep away from children and pets.
